Thank you for looking

We have many other beautiful cats looking for loving homes - photos are expected soon so please keep re-visiting this page as their photos and details will be added regularly.

Trixie is a four-year-old tabby cat, who is neutered and vaccinated. She arrived with her four kittens earlier on this year, all unwanted because a family member was allergic to them. The kittens have been homed but Trixie is still waiting for somewhere to call her own. She is a very sweet cat but she can be a little shy at first.

If you would like to offer her a loving home, please call Andrea in Horsham on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517.

Ruby and Tigger are both six years old and they came in for rehoming following a relationship break-up. Ruby is a tortie female cat, who lost her tail following a road traffic accident, and Tigger is a ginger boy. They are both neutered. We are awaiting a photograph of them.

If you would like to offer them a loving home, please call Andrea in Horsham on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517.

Sammy is an affectionate black and white boy. He is six years old and he has been neutered and vaccinated. Sammy came in to us when his owner started taking Warfarin and because Sammy had scratched him twice in six years, his owner did not wish to risk keeping him.

If you would like to offer him a loving home, please call Andrea in Horsham on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517.

Thomas and Tiny are four-year-old tabby brothers and they are both neutered. They were unwanted because they did not get on with their owner’s Terrier, but we suspect that they had been abused because their front teeth are broken. Thomas and Tiny will be having dentals in the near future. We would prefer to find them a new home together. We are awaiting a photograph of them.

If you would like to offer them a loving home, please call Andrea in Horsham on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517.

For Those who like a Cat with Attitude!

Pushkin is eight years old and he is black and white. He is neutered but as Andrea says, he is also grumpy and anti-social! Pushkin’s owner very sadly suffered from dementia and had to go into a Home.

If you would like to offer him a loving home, please call Andrea in Horsham on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517.

Older Cats Looking for New Homes

Scooby and Scrappy are the two twelve-year-old sisters who arrived at Andrea’s after their owner passed away earlier on this year. They are tortie tabbies and they are spayed and vaccinated. Despite having their lives turned upside-down, they are super cats and would make someone wonderful companions. They will be having dentals before rehoming.

Mogwi is a black neutered female cat and she is eleven years old. Mogwi is a superb cat and Andrea would be tempted to give her a home herself, but she has quite a few of our residents already living with her as well as her own cats. We are awaiting a photo of Mogwi.

These cats do not have any ongoing health issues and if you are interested in giving them a home for the rest of their lives, please contact Andrea on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517 to find out more about them.

Smudge is seven years old and is a very loving cat. She is neutered but she is not keen on other cats, so we are looking to home her where she will be an only cat.

If you would like to offer her a loving home, please call Andrea in Horsham on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517.

Baggy is an eight-year old neutered male black cat. He is very loving and will make someone a wonderful companion. We are awaiting a photograph of him but if you would like to find out more about him, please call Andrea in Horsham on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517.

Tyler is a very affectionate two-year old male cat and is neutered and vaccinated.

If you would like to offer him a loving home, please call Andrea in Horsham on 01403 891168 or 07745 802517.

Cats looking for permanent foster homes

Of the increasing number of cats that we take in, there are many that despite their age or health condition can return love and affection to their keepers. However, you may be wary of taking ownership of such a cat because of the cost - by reason of their age or health they may require extra medical attention, treatment and/or special prescription food. Caring for Cats has created a Permanent Foster Scheme in areas close to its rescue centres whereby the charity will pay all veterinary bills, including prescription food and In the event of you not being able to keep the cat any longer for any reason, the charity will take the cat back into its care at the earliest opportunity. Permanently fostered cats remain Caring for Cats cats and we stay in close touch with our fosterers. We do ask for regular updates and photographs of the cats because they have sponsors.

Andre and Gizmo are twelve-year old brothers and they are very affectionate. They have lived in a flat all their lives and have never been out. Their owner became very ill and had to go into a Home so reluctantly he asked us to take them. Gizmo has had an operation on his eye and is much better now, Andre has tummy problems and is on prescription diet food. They are both neutered.

The cats are currently in Essex but if you are interested in offering them a permanent foster home please initially call Veronica on 01732 365534 or email her at info@caringforcats.org.uk

Billie is about eleven years old and she is neutered. She has two separate stomach conditions and is on prescription diet food. Billie can be a bit feisty with other cats but only by swiping them and making a lot of noise if they get too close to her. For this reason, it would probably be best if she was the centre of attention as an only cat.

Billie is currently in Essex but if you are interested in offering her a permanent foster home please initially call Veronica on 01732 365534 or email her at info@caringforcats.org.uk

Grey is a six-year old ex-semi-feral cat who has had his tail amputated. His friend Ren is fourteen-years old and they did have a foster home together until recently but sadly their fosterer’s circumstances changed and they came back to us. Grey is now very affectionate and Ren is a lovely old boy, but he can feel a bit pushed out by Grey’s demands for affection. They are both neutered and will be going to the vet for a check-up. Ren is vaccinated and will be having his booster and Grey will be starting his vaccinations.

They are currently in Sussex but if you are interested in offering them a permanent foster home please initially call Veronica on 01732 365534 or email her at info@caringforcats.org.uk

Ollie is a very loving taby and white male, aged about three.  He was found as a stray by a lady living in Essex and had been without a home for at least six months.  He has since been neutered and has had a full health check and routine blood tests.

He has a lot of love to give to the right person or family and is looking for a home in a quiet road where he can make a big fuss of his new owner.

If you would like to meet Ollie, please phone
